John 17:8-10

⁸ because the words that you gave to me I have given to them, and they received them^[a] and know truly that I have come from you, and they have believed that you have sent me. ⁹ I am asking on behalf of them. I am not asking on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those whom you have given me, because they are yours, ¹⁰ and all my things are yours, and your things are mine, and I have been glorified in^[b] them.
